The start window will open at 9am with waves going approximately every few minutes. Start planning out your day! Come early and do some team stretching before the run during our pre-race party!

Times: Thursday, May 2nd from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Friday, May 3rd from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. (For packet pick-up runners may park in the VIP lot for free. The VIP lot is located off of Oak St. and Morrie Silver Way. Look for the parking flags, you won’t be able to miss it!)

Charity Highlight
Teens Living with Cancer (TLC) is the peer support program of Melissa’s Living Legacy Teen Cancer Foundation. Founded in 2001, the organization was one mom’s answer to a challenge posed by her 19 year-old daughter days before she died. Asked to use what she had learned “to make a difference – to make things better”, founder Lauren Spiker established the non-profit with a mission to help teens live their best lives during and after cancer. The small grassroots organization, now a nationally respected provider of psychosocial support for teens with cancer, has TLC chapters in Rochester and Buffalo, NY.
Wanting only to be “normal” teens ready to spread their wings and fly, approximately 20,000 teens in the United States each year face very unique challenges – devastating isolation, diminished self-image and confidence, loss of peer support, and an uncertain future. No longer children but not yet adults, teens with cancer are caught in the “great divide” between pediatric and adult medicine. At TLC we bridge the gap!
At TLC, teens with cancer make new friends who understand what it’s like to have your life interrupted. Here teens can just be themselves without worry of ridicule or pity. At TLC, teens with cancer have a voice. A voice that is loud, strong and empowered. At TLC, teens are not alone. As 16-year old Kaytee sums up, “It’s amazing. When you’re here you can talk real about stuff that went on.”
