We are thrilled to be working with Girls on the Run and the campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity at Florida State University.

Girls on the Run of the Big Bend is a Tallahassee-based non-profit that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. The program serves girls 3rd through 8th grade at local schools and community centers to create a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

Since 1990, the campus chapter of Habitat for Humanity at Florida State University has played an active role in alleviating the problem of substandard housing and has advocated for affordable housing in the Tallahassee community. Habitat for Humanity at FSU has taken a proactive stance in educating tomorrow's leaders about the problems surrounding poverty in their community, but also the possibilities for positive change.  Through events such as The Color Run, we are able to raise enough money to build a habitat home every year.
