What is The Color Run - The Happiest VIRTUAL 5K on the Planet?
This is the first-ever virtual edition of The Color Run. Join Color Runners all around the world as you complete your 5K from your own neighborhood, running right from your door. Your ticket includes access to The Color Run App, t-shirt, medal, and color packet.
What cities is the race available in?
The Color Run is available everywhere in the United States. Take part in your 5K from any city.
How do I get started?
1. Purchase a ticket at https://shop.thecolorrun.com/
2. Download "The Color Run: Virtual 5K" on the app store
3. Input your access code
4. Run your 5K. Cover yourself with color, and take selfies along the way
5. Repeat as many times as you would like before the event ends, December 31st, 2020.

What safety measures should I be aware of?
Your safety, and the safety of our community, is our number one priority. Be sure to observe traffic safety laws when completing your run. Practice safe social distancing as required by your location.

How do I register friends on my team?
Join an existing team or create a new team immediately after inputting your access code. You can also find team settings in the "More" tab in the bottom bar. If you have accidentally joined the wrong team, you can leave and join another.
What do I need to participate in The Color Run?
1. Ensure you have a smartphone with the latest version of The Color Run: Virtual 5K App.
2. Make sure your battery is fully charged.
3. Ensure your phone is NOT in low power mode.
4. Ensure your location service settings for The Color Run app are set to "Always" to ensure the best location tracking during your run.
5. Water and a phone case are recommended.
Why does my Location Permission settings need to be set to 'Always?'
To provide the most reliable activity tracking, even when your phone is locked or the app is minimized, 'Always' permission is required.
We do not track your location when you are not actively recording a run, and you may turn it off again after your run in the more tab.
